I was about to replace the handlebar to achieve a similar result because I am 6 feet 2 inches tall but I finally modified the seat upholstery making it 4cms/ 1,5 inches higher and now I am not only much more comfortable with my legs more stretched but I also have a new lower hands distance. So I think I do not need to change the handlebar or risers any more.

I keep waiting for MG to release the tall comfort seat in brown to achieve the same thing. I recently emailed Guzzi customer and asked (again !) about that possibility, and the answer was even less positive than the previous reply. :(

You want a new seat design made? I am still waiting for my side cases after three months. I am not blaming Piaggio per se, I think my dealer is more at fault. If they are going to sell this model one would think they would have at least one set in stock. Glad it is winter so I didn't need them terribly badly but the lack of them inhibited my grocery shopping. My V7lll has large cases so I "had" to ride it instead. Not bad but my new bike had to sit it out.

Not a new design, just want the same brown material for the accessory seats that came on my original seat !

You just need to find a good upholsterer able yo simply use the original upholstery and adding more padding under It.
That Is what I have done on muy Mandello, as long as you do not add more than 4cms of padding the original upholstery can be easily stretched or suplemented under the Seat and the result Is exactly as the original because IS the original! And Is much cheaper than buying a MG One and you can Taylor It to suit you.

They have no plans to make a passenger comfort saddle in brown. It’s not going to happen.

Just trying to tell you what I know for certain.

Hi Javifoto70,

Based on your comments above a V100 might be once again on the shopping list, do you think the passenger seat could also be increased by 4cm using the original upholstery.

Looking at my other posts you'll see I'm investigating Mistral rear peg extenders for my wife but i still doubt they'll give her similar comfort to that of my 1200 sport. ( I'm still waiting to get the peg extenders from the Australian distributor to confirm, hopefully I'll see them in the new year ). So maybe the peg extenders coupled with an increased seat height might be a solution.

Just hope I'm not trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.

An experienced upholsterer can certainly find if not the same original fabric upholster at least a very similar one to make a taller passenger seat. I have several motorcycles including new, classic and cafe racer ones, on many of them I use to reshape, restore or just customize their seats getting the same original upholstery and the results are hard to distinguish from the original ones.

exactly what I thought, anyway I suppose he just meant "recovered".
I'd suggest trying to find original upholstery here or for that matter in the US would be next to impossible.
Either way its a option I could investigate.

Happy New Year!

I’m afraid that there is a 1% chance of finding the original fabric anywhere in the world.

The best you could do is to just have both seats recovered in new fabric which you like.
