Returning from a New Year's run, my V65Sp started running on one cylinder, vibrating, and making a horrible sound. Somehow, the exhaust valve head had separated from the stem. Then, the piston started demolishing the right cylinder and everything in it. The bike now needs a replacement cylinder, head, piston, rings, valves, etc. for the right side. Please help me find the necessary parts to get this little jewel running again - and let me know the cost.

Did it beat the head up pretty good? Which side? You want a pair of cyl & pistons? New or used? Just 1 side?

The head and cylinder are toast. I apologize for not responding sooner.
Best to check with a long time dealer such as Harper's Moto Guzzi. If that fails, look up a breaker who may have used parts, then there is always internet searches for parts..

As it turns out, I did exactly that. I bought a small block cylinder and head from Curtis Harper in Missouri. Now, we are trying to get everything to work together on my V65Sp.
