V7 II ENGINE FAILURES & CLUTCH ADJUST NOTICE!

I own a V85TT and it's the only Guzzi I've ever owned. It has maybe the best clutch I've ever used.
As an FYI to this thread to lessen any further confusion/frustration, the newer V7 Mk III & IV (850) along with the V85TT has a much improved clutch actuation. Do not compare it to the older Gen I V7s. The Mk II had a slightly improved pull when they went to the 6-spd as well. All still require daily adjustment, including the V85TT in my experience in using them as rentals.

Thanks guys, as a new member , I have seen some threads here about the crankshaft thrust washer omitted from Some V7. Last summer I decided to buy a V7 Nevada Classic Anniversario 2014 model. 6500 on the clock/stunning condition. It's a gorgeous little bike. I fancied another Guzzi after previously been the owner of a Bellagio and earlier a T5 with which I toured across Europe without a hitch..My issue is this..I bought the V7 as above and rode the bike back through the Midlands and pennines to Glasgow. I enjoyed the ride home very much and the bike ran perfectly if a little harsh on the rear suspension. Winter descended and the bike had a wooly put on and garaged. Last week I fired the bike up, purring perfectly...pulled clutch engaged 1st released clutch and nothing,I could rev whilst in gear. feels like the clutch is not disengaging. The bike felt perfect. The last time I had it out on the road,which was one midwinter ride. I read here on the forum about clutch issues with some models. If there is any chance that there is a (thrust washer or crank issue)I am nervous to have the clutch changed/repaired if there is a risk that a catastrophic crank issue exists in the motor..sorry! I tried to load a picture of my bike ...hit the wrong "file". It's a bike file I can delete again. Anyway I am sorry for the laborious speel ...my VIN number is..ZGULMH009AM111279. I would be eternally grateful if you guys could shed any light as to whether my bike is a candidate for missing crank part. I am a bit depressed at the thought I may have fallen into a mechanical trap. Many thanks and so grateful to have some support. Graham.
