I've got a brand new V7 II Stone at about 65 miles and the idle sounds... odd. Irregular is the best word I can think of to describe it.

I figured it was just a Guzzi quirk until another rider commented on while I was out today at lunch.

It idles fine for a bit, and then hesitates for half a beat. There is a gentle shudder in the bike and it keeps on chugging. If I'm in neutral & flat footing it I can feel the bike press on my thigh when it does this. Is this a Guzzi thing? A new bike thing? I'm obviously far from having this thing broken in.

I've got no performance issues. It never hesitates or feels like it's going to sputter & die on me. I'm just wondering if this is something I should worry about or take back into the dealership before my first service comes up.

I'd get it back to the dealer. It is probably something simple. I'm not sure if your bike is single TB or not, but the dealer should be able to take care of it. Something could have been missed during the prep of the bike.

John, yes, his V7 II is a 2016 single TB.
No that's not normal. I would insure that you have really had the dealer PDI done, and that all parameters are set to stock, i.e. valve lash, Throttle Position Sensor (TPS), etc.
