Hi guys, new V7 Carbon Dark owner as of a few weeks ago and I'm just getting around to trying to add necessary accessories to make the bike more friendly for 2-up riding.

After adding the Guzzi rear rack, I'm trying to find a way to add a sissy bar without having to rely on a givi box for back support (girl keeps asking for one and won't ride without it). Anyone fab up there own sissy bar for the V7 III?

I threw a design together in CAD that I'm hoping will work in place of the spacers given with the guzzi rear rack (seen below), but am debating whether it's worth it to put in the effort to fab something up if someone already found a way to make an off the shelf product work.

Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks.

Weird timing. I’ve been debating manufacturing my own custom sissy bar too. Guzzi makes one (part# 2S001046) which works with Guzzis’s rear touring rack (2S001045). Not sure if that’s what you have or not.

I actually have the small guzzi luggage rack (2s000256). It looks like the two racks you listed are actually for the V9 Roamer. The luggage rack I have comes metal spacers because the attachment points are a little wider than the frame. My hope is replace these spacers with the design above, having the sissy bar use the bolts on the frame as main support, but having it rest (using a rubber pad) on the rear fender as secondary support. This will let me use the luggage rack and sissy bar at the same time.
