I have V7 III Stone, 1k miles on it. Just did first service recently.
When starting it on cold (not winter cold, California underground garage cold) it lowers revs down for a moment almost dying, then revs up to normal, then again brings revs down. And keeps pulsing like this for about 40 seconds. I'm attaching a recording of this.
If to open throttle in this state it dies. I guess it's running very lean.

I didn't have this problem from the very beginning, it developed itself over time. During past winter it was perfect, zero problems at all. Also not related to service, as it started before, just not as severe as it is now.

I really don't want to go to the local dealer, as they are super slow.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Get it mapped by Todd. He's got a shop over in OC and Malibu. Even in cold ass Ohio winter I never had problems starting and idling without the remap. And now with the map, it's rip roaring to go from 5 seconds after start. I'd also pull the Evap and SAS if you haven't already.

    Thanks for suggestion.
I still want to have a clean starting point before doing some mods.
I'd map it immediately if it would run like this from the very beginning.
But It started to occur only for last couple of moths.

Wasn’t there a problem with the o2 sensor getting condensation on it with this model?
Like Roose said get a remap it’s going to cost a bit but it’s going to run how it supposed to.
While your at it you should get a set of pipes;)

Roose, should have listened to you and everyone on this forum and removed EVAP from the very beginning.
My dad convinced me that this sounds like an intake leak, so after removing EVAP it started to idle perfectly.

I guess now It's time for pipes :)

Live and learn. Glad you figured it out. You'll need a fuel map when replacing the pipes. That's my 2>1 brushed finish exhaust in the store for the V7III. The sound is amazing. Even the HD guys love it. Great looks, welds, and sound. Has an old school GP sound.
