So, having wondered about the "wrench" icon appearing at time of service, I've done the 6200 mile service requirements at 6100 miles by myself, when it was too wet to ride. Just waiting to see if the icon appears, went for a 130 mile ride yesterday, and at 6250 it appeared. Just a small icon next to the "computer calculated" cc icon for the gear selection. It is not at all invasive, kinda cute, even. So, this morning, I went out to check if the previous method of turning it off on the I and II models works. It doesn't work, so apparently one has to have the dealer hook it up and turn it off. I won't be doing that, because it doesn't bother me and I know everything is done correctly.

Bummer, been through this already with the Cali 1400.

Can't say I've noticed it myself, but can you see whether a code can be entered into the dashboard as we found for the Cali 1400? Determining the required code will be another story, but if there's no means it obviously ain't going to work.

Other angle might be TR Alaris (available on this site) or Guzzidiag. My V7-III has only done a couple of thousand kilometers, so it'll be a while before I can play with some options.
