Hey.
I bought my first bike, a V7 III Stone, about 1.5 years back. Last year, I had some trouble firing it up, only to learn that if I hit my Kill Switch, I can't start it back up without some fiddling around underneath the bike. Unfortunately, yet thankfully, a stranger helped so I have no clue what he did.
After the winter season this year, I charged my battery, only to find that my bike won't turn over. Before, I would hear it try, but fail. I tried a few times and ever shook and rolled back and forth to get the inner juices flowing, but nothing helped. After a few attempts, what little sound it made stopped completely. I dont have the cash right now to get it towed and looked at, which is part of the reason why I want to get on it (to save the $100 I spend weekly on gas for my truck).
I'm handy enough to have been able to take out and charge the battery and replace the broken clutch lever. Could that be it? The clutch? I can still push it with the clutch in and change gears, so I know I did something right.

Have the battery load tested. Check the clutch switch if your bike has one, and the side stand switch. She should at least turn over. Once you get it to turn over we can go from there.

No the best of descriptions. A few of this generation had poor start buttons that work when they want. Make sure of the battery first then spray contact cleaner into the button. If you can’t get it to spin after hitting it 20 times I’d check the wires on the switch itself. No free play and wires break off sometimes.
