That sounds awesome, thanks. I had a 1975 Honda CB500 for a couple years, then a 1978 Yamaha XS750 for a year or so before selling both of them to friends last year after fixing them up. Currently, I only have the V7, though. I've only been riding for about 3 years.Ahhh, pizza paradise!! Sweet.
Also there is the Moto Guzzi National Owners Club. I've included the name and contact info of our local Rep.
Just an FYI, starting in March the third Sunday of the month there is a Guzzi Breakfast at the Whistle Stop in Deep River.

Thanks for posting David. You should try to track down Thomas Au. He is a big Guzzi fan, and a helluva a nice guy. Haven't chatted with him in forever. If you do find him, tell him Todd still thanks him for his help on the grill at the Malibu Rally.2018 V7 III Stone in black - ZGULDU006JM000603

Well not sure where to post this, but I just bought (April 2019) a new 2017 Stone in Accident MD and drove it 5,904 miles back home. What an adventure. The first 600 miles service was done in Greensboro also great folks to work with. Ran great the entire trip and used no oil. I had a minor issue with the right hand mirror coming loose and had to stop at a tool store to buy a couple of wrenches. They fit well into the "tool kit" supplied by Guzzi. The bike does have difficulty finding neutral when at a dead stop. Don't know if it is a feature of the V7-III in general of just my luck to have this little quirk. Oh yes, the vin# zguldu001hm000325Congrats on the bike, shame about the shonky PDI, but at least they have given you a good will gesture.
Now that is one heck of a first ride. Glad to hear it went so well and smoothly.Well not sure where to post this, but I just bought (April 2019) a new 2017 Stone in Accident MD and drove it 5,904 miles back home.
Perfect spot for it John, and congrats on the purchase and the epic journey! I did that ride on my '00 Jackal in July-August of that year via Seattle, and down to San Diego. Memorable trip for sure. Enjoy and post often!Well not sure where to post this, but I just bought (April 2019) a new 2017 Stone in Accident MD and drove it 5,904 miles back home.

Yeah that's a "feature" of V7III, I've had that issue since I purchased mine. Doesn't matter cold or hot, always have to fiddle with it. Plus the indicator light for neutral doesn't always turn on immediately.
Thanks Vagrant.the free play setting is 2MM. I found a 2.5mm drill bit and used it. when it's at 3mm it's a bitch to find neutral. I just can't bring myself to do the 2mm.
As vagrant implied, the clutch adjustment can effect shifting, including finding neutral. And I use two fingers on the clutch, which makes it even worse. To solve it on my Racer, I reduced the freeplay (need to keep some, though)and bought some new levers that have slightly more stroke (traded levererage for travel, so it also requires a little more pull). Solved the problem for me, and now the trans is like butter.[
I will give that a try. Also, if it is not too much trouble, how do you get that picture up there. All Steve and I have is the symbol for male.
