Hey everyone,

New to this group. Would like to share my experience with MG V7 Stone. Bought a new one from a dealer in Munich in April 2024. Fixed the loose contact in starter switch during first service. Yesterday, as I was riding, heard the injectors getting louder and the motorcycle stopped. I saw oil leaking from the cylinder cap and engine light going on. Towed to the dealer who did the first service and got a feedback that the valve is broken. It has done only ~2360km in total. Unbelievable

It must have been lunch time at the factory & they lost their place. That is what warranty is for, the exception of the process.
Welcome,

Makes me wonder about the first service, they did adjust the valves
right?

Material failure on valves may be keeper failure, valve stem, spring or cap. I would think Chinese part failure.

Discouraging news , l was thinking about keeping my 2022 V7 as the last bike. However, let's wait and see how Guzzi solves this problem .l didn't know chinese interfered in such critical engine parts

Makes no difference where parts come from IF they are quality parts. Piston rings also come from China.
I asked when a friends V85TT went no compression at 30Kmi. You don't see many failures, just a few.

Yes, but he traded it for new one.
Parts seem to be OK, they been doing this since 17'.
You should be OK, may take time if no parts are in US.
