V7iii Carby conversion

impressive. Those RD350's are very fast bikes, and get quicker the closer they get to blowing up !

just grab you a nice horizontal weber and make a manifold to fit. Single cable pull and no sync required.
( good carb beats FI any time )
What a great idea! Hadn't thought of that solution. I'll have a good look into what it might take to mate something like that to the Gutz engine.

Why do I continue to get ignored on all of my posts? Eliminating the TB/ECU means you have no timing source to fire the plugs on a 2013+ V7.

So there is no crank / cam angle sensor you could use / tap into to get your timing to feed a electronic ignition ?
Well that’s a fly in the ointment !
Cam sensor only. Not saying it can't be done, but certainly a huge project. The 15M ECU with dual throttle bodies makes for an easy conversion as you can leave everything in place to handle spark.

Probably because he doesn't want to accept the facts. Doesn't realize that if he wants carbs, he should have purchased a bike that comes with them.

Hey !
Was that at Richmond cycle Len Bertrand ?
I had the Honda out the for a tune up, it was running so lean I was afaraid I was going to hole a Piston !
Nope , it was done at Harley-Davidson of Ottawa on Industrial Blvd at the time I worked in service , a John King
was the service manager then (bright guy) . Peter

The big struggle for the newer single throttle body/ECU V7/9 would be the ECU for timing control, especially with the "wet" alternators.
Sorry 'bout that! No, I didn't ignore you. That bit slid right past me, unnoticed.

Oh well, alas and alack, that idea is put to rest then .
