V85 TT crown wheel ring nut tension.

I have scoured the manuals and cannot find the torque setting for the crown wheel ring nut on a V85 TT, can anybody help me with this? I have found tensions for all sorts of things in the various manuals, but not the one I am looking for. I need the torque setting for the crown wheel nut in the diff. I need to replace the seals, I have a leak.
 
Looking at the parts break down for the rear drive, I don't even see part numbers called out for the ring and pinion gears. Nor how the ring gear is attached to the drive flange for the rear wheel. Pretty poor manuals in my opinion. I do know from big blocks the torque for the nut for the pinion gear shaft is extremely high. Probably about all you can do is get it as tight as you can.
 
The big ring nut replaces the 6 or 8 ring gear bolt to the hub, there's a big socket tool about 4-6 inches w/big prongs.
Good luck w/it. Haven't looked up how much the tool is yet.

The nut is #17 (2B002536) in the parts manual, from what i see in the parts manual and the overhaul manual it appears to be a fairly standard looking industrial style lock nut, I haven't pulled it apart as yet.
 
I haven't been able to find ANY torque specs for the fasteners on my V85tt. Don't know why, maybe an Italian thing? Good luck.

Appears to be a gland nut. Probably requires a special tool for tightening and removal. The Guzzi part number for the tool is 02999Y. Also the service manual lists more special tools for the rear drive.
 
It's a big allen hole the same as on one of my Ev,s i think. Nut is different but one from an Ev might work.

EVs don't have an Allen hole. Completely different design. More like the old 70s Eldorado design. In fact, the only real difference to the old Eldorado is the gear case, and gear ratio. Internal design is the same. right down to the bearings and seals used.
