My dealer has just advised me that after 13 months, my replacement turn indicators have arrived. Unfortunately we are currently in Covid-19 lock down, so I intend to wait until the all clear is given in a week or two.

But my existing indicators seem to be working fine. Can anyone tell me what the difference between original and replacement is?

No, but please let us know as I bought the stock LEDs last year to fit to mine.

N. American market gets incandescent bulb turns like the V7 here. I brought in euro LEDs.

I’m wondering if there are resisters in the LED units to have the proper resistance to make them blink ?

When the Honda was converted to LED signal lights you had to add a 50 Ohm ( I think) resistor so they would blink properly... but maybe things have changed since 2007 ( the old days of controlling the blinkers with a bi-metallic strip)
Is it now a computer controlled low voltage relay in the ÉCU ?

The dashboard is the turn control on most of the new bikes. All l can add is that the euro LED turns were plug and play with nothing additional needed to make them function properly... hence I think the dashboard is still the circuit controller (on the V85TT).
