Hello Guzzis’,
I recently traded in a V7 for a new 2021 V85TT. Accessories appear limited right now, however I’d like to see whether anyone has a recommendation for an engine guard for it? OEM or aftermarket?

I installed the SW-Motech version, mainly because I think it is marginally more attractive than the OEM version.

Stockers work fine I assume. Very sturdy. But, change the transmishion fluid first as it is a PITA to refill with them on. Clean the electrical connection on the oil pressure sensor too, and lube it like it was a battery connection.

Just FYI to those reading this thread, I am now a SW-Motech dealer, I just haven't gotten them online yet. They are ~$255 and currently on back-order everywhere. The OEM bars I can get fairly quickly.
 
I put a set of the OEM bars on yesterday. They fit well and all the bolt holes lined up so they were easy to install. They did not come with instructions (just a single sheet saying to have them installed by dealer with an installation instruction sheet part number). I found that installation instruction online by searching for the number--it provides torque specifications and includes step-by-step instructions. Installation is straight forward, but I wanted the torque specifications and to make sure I did not miss something.
