One should to this once a month, at least, and not every two years!
I just tried to find the TPS-setting mode; the famous Alfalin.

But Controls are greyed out, and I cannot for my life remember how to get at it.

So, please, step by step..... :blush:

Yeah - Thanks;

15RC settings. The VDST does not show the actual TPS value in the normal TPS channel/position. The TPS value of 2.3~2.5 will not change on reset. The channel to observe for the TPS position is Alfalin_0. It will display in millivolts. In order to display the TPS in degrees, replace one of the other on-screen functions, i.e. Spark advance (or any other) with the channel Alfalin_0. To do this, select the 'CH' (channel) from the pull-down menu, and replace it in for one of the channels displayed as default on the dashboard. Replace with the alfalin_0 signal. The new channel should show 3.1 degrees on reset. To zero the TPS, the procedure is the same as the 5AM, just follow the on-screen prompts. Trim cannot be adjusted on the 15RC because it is controlled by the Lambda reading.

but the CHannel (not Control, as I wrote) tab is greyed out, and cannot be be reached.... :S

I find it makes a difference what screen you have active. I can't get the alfaline_0 channel if I am on the screen with the psuedo gauges, but if I click the four green squares to get the four horizontal digital readouts on the main screen I can change what channels are displayed with the options pulldown menu. I don't have it plugged into a bike but I just checked the software and the channel selection is not greyed out with the digital readouts as the main screen.
Does that make any sense?

Holt,

In the dash mode the CH button on the top row should not be grayed out. Are you using the latest download of the software? Hard for me to go into detail for you as I use the Pro version not the single ECU one.

Yessss!

Thanks. Dash-mode it was. I'll give it a try again, when I'm home after work today.
I usually do not like that sort of gadgets, easier to work with numbers and curves.
Apparently the Tecno Research guys was programming TV-games in a past life. :mrgreen:

I may have missed a later update, as a one-motorcycle-owner these things doesn't come up very often.

I must have an analog mind. I prefer using dash mode. Also I can set up more parameters to be displayed at the same time. Since RPM, TPS, Air temp, and engine temp are displayed in the upper screen, I can use the data fields below to observe data that isn't displayed in the upper section. That gives me 10 different parameters I can view on one screen.
