I had Dairyland ins on my 2012 Gold wing 2001 Guzzi California and 2010 Guzzi Stelvio. Full coverage, $500 deductible. 100/300/500 and max of uninsured and under insured. before I bought the 2015 Versys 1000 I called the agent with the serial # and he quoted within $2. a month of the current Stelvio I was selling. total annual premium for all 3 was $810. well I bought the Versys the same day and cancelled the Stelvio. 3 days latter the new bill showed up. $1,450. they had decided to make it a sport bike. USE CAUTION!!! I went to Allstate, added it to my cars and home. same coverage $510. a year at least for now. to add insult to injury they are billing me $30. for 3 days and refusing to re-fund me for the unused month siting the policy change and the cancelation removes the winter lay up!
and the answer is the clutch was just too hard for my old arthritic hand. the Versys has about a 2 # pull. I do miss the sound and feel.

Progressive hiked my premiums on the policy for my '14 Norge and '91 ST1100 by approximately 50%. I called Progressive and was unable to get a better rate. I got quotes from Geico and a couple other carriers. With some changes in my deductibles I had a Geico quote less than my original Progressive policy. I have used an independent agent for the last 30 years. He was able to work with Progressive and get me a policy that was less than last year's. The whole process took about a week but it kept me with my agent and saved me about $300 per year.
