I removed my exhausts the other day to replace the gaskets as I had discovered that the previous owner had used the intake gaskets between the headers and cylinder heads.
One of them was a pain to wrestle off, and when I took a close look at them, I discovered that they are both warped, and definitely not flat, hence the difficulty getting it off easily. Are they supposed to be flat? I assumed that the had become distorted due to the heat they handle, even though they seem to still be doing their job.
Wondering if it's worth while replacing them...
Thanks!
