    Hi,
A weird noise comes from my V7. Like a "printer" sound :)
Pulling the clutch doesn't change that noise.

    I've recorded an audio/video clip:

Do you think it is safe to ride?

    Thanks!

You can hear better between secs 9-12. You need the volume a bit higher because the normal sound covers it.

stick in your ear plugs and go ride it! Guzzi's aren't made to idle.

If the engine don't slow up w/clutch is pulled in it's GOOD, Guzzi's make unexplained noises all the time. Maybe you need to ride it wide open, they like it from time to time.

Sounds are impossible to diagnose via the net. See you at the Rock Store.

Mine has sounded like that for 12,000 miles now. I agree with vagrant, ear plugs.

Sounds the same as mine except for the exhaust.
