What did you do to your Moto Guzzi today?

I rode mine.....went out with the local classic m/cycle club. We had a good turn out of over 25 bikes including a strong representation of Guzzis: V35 Imola, V75 Strada, 1000cc Spada, Nuovo Falcone and myself on my old Falcone (I haven't washed it yet!). Our 2 other regular Guzzi riders chose different mounts from their extensive collection...a Douglas and a Buell Blast. Half way thru' the ride I broke away and went off to the local Guzzi owners club meet which had a disappointing turn out in comparison, only a Stelvio, a new V7, myself and two more in their cars.

Change the engine oil/filter & f/d oil on my Baby Breva. Now trying to figure out why the V7C won't start. Dash does its thing when you turn the key, but not even a click when you hit the starter. Ran great last night...test ride after maintenance ~sigh~

Bought some bolts and rubber grommets to attach a tail rack to my Griso. The bolts, because I lost one, and the grommets because I drilled some ugly holes in the tailpiece and need to cover my mistake.

But then, breaking stuff and then having to fix it is how I learn, and I'm generally smart enough to avoid really expensive goofs.

I told her "Ciao Bella! Quanto ti voglio bene!" as I do everyday, patted her seat and tank, and blew her a kiss goodnight. She knows I wanted to ride today but had to take the Subaru due to shopping duties.

Maybe tomorrow a ride will occur if the weather isn't too cold. :)

Rode mine to work, died again this morning when cold. Has died three times on me when I go to stop at a stop light.

Ride home always perfect clears the mind from the stuff that happens at work.

Took her outside to meet snow for the first time.

Just screwed down the MC cover after filling and bleeding the night before. Oh, and put the Bagster tank cover back on and right side tupperware seat panel. Only at the PC as updating my Garmin else I'd be sat in the shed keeping my baby company  :silly:

I looked at it (and my Triumph) in the garage. It's been raining for days around here, plus I'm not feeling well, so just looking at 'em cheers me up a bit.

Some benevolent thoughts - never goes astray. Likewise, raining and cold today. Next Tuesday is a day off - fingers crossed for good riding weather.

Rode the 98 EV into work today. Poor thing has been ignored lately. found two loose exhaust clamps on it, which allowed a portion of the right side exhaust to slip a bit, causing it to run kinda crappy. Got some premium alcohol free fuel in it, and its ready for its winter nap.

Today, I greased my shift linkage. Lot's of things to grease with the rearsets. And yes, they were mostly dry. I think Moto Guzzi puts just enough grease on to aid in assembly and that's it.

Just generally tore up the slab through the mountains from Payson to Phoenix and back again. Averaged bout 53.3mpg @ 75mph.

Walked down to the garage at 0600 this morning. Still dark out and about 40F. Moved the tender from the Breva to the Scura. Thought about taking the V7C, but I wimped out because the GS has heated grips and a windscreen. Tomorrow is going to be a high of 49F, with a 30% chance of rain or snow. Looks like the GS is gonna haul me to work tomorrow too.

Just got my Griso, so first job was a good wash. Noticed the damaged front mudguard (the previous owner told me of it), so I'll look for a new one, or if I can't find one look for an Aprilia one. More pressing however is finding space for it in the shed... :(

New shocks! The Gazi's I ordered from Todd showed up yesterday. I put them on and adjusted the sag. I won't be able to take a test ride until Saturday.
