My daughter's friend booked their tickets for a trip to Ireland, she was so keen on getting a good price I don't think she realised the long layover they have at Frankfurt.

:?: Anybody here with a knowledge of Frankfurt who can suggest a visit to something in the locality for 2 girls of 22?

Preferably not a shopping mall as I think they do enough of that anyway! ;)

With disembarkation and embarkation I think they'll have about 6-7 hours spare.

Not too much at the moment, I'm afraid.
Frankfurt aM is one of those huge airports, and also check-in has been prolonged because of recent events...

Besides that, all of Europe north of the Alps is freezing cold at the moment, so walking around in a certainly very old town won't be too enjoyable.

There is plenty if they like the arts
