Why is it that my 13 Stelvio and 17 Griso while having the same drivetrain have some technical differences? What I'm referring too is the Stelvio has two oxygen sensors where the Griso only has one and the Griso has one touch starting where the Stelvio you've got to hold the button until it fires? I know these are random and who cares kinda questions but thought Id throw it out there. I know the differences aren't because of model years, I owned a 12 Griso previously and it was the same.

The Griso was largely unchanged from 2009 to 2017 outside of the roller cams... along with mediocre sales. The Stelvio had several upgrades including the large tank, and three cam profiles before the roller cams... and better global sales. I think the lower speed use/operation is the main reason went to the dual sensor/cylinder fueling on the Stelvio (along with the Norge) to help with throttle/fueling to combat strict low speed/RPM emissions where they were mostly ridden. The Griso has more of a spirited throttle enjoyment owner. The push and let go starter sequence was abandoned as it was known to be problematic, especially when it came to low battery voltage.
