I don't think so. You need the dash for the ignition, there are other sensors run through dash too.
You could jump across pins on the plug.
There are a few dash workers here that have had extensive dealings w/them. Do a dash search you'll find the answer.

No, per above, the RFID key communicates with the dashboard, and "unlocks" the ECU for anti-theft. There is no easy way around it, or if anyone reading this knows of a solution, please post.
Steve, a jumper to the same pins on the ECU doesn't work.

But it will run if only the clocks are dead. There's been many a report of the speedo dying, but the rest of the dash should be OK. Might have to adapt some sort of GPS speedo, but it will get you back on the road.

ok my bike is 1100 abs model at moment I have no problems, my mates bike is 1100 non abs. He go caught out in bad storm, water has got in the clocks. The clocks started playing up before he got home but next day bike won't do anything, the lights come on in the dash but nothing in the lcd . It won't let you go in to fault codes the needles don't sweep when ignition first tuned on.
took clocks off loads of water in them ,tried drying them out but no good. Have read my abs clock are no good for his bike, he has got hold of second had set £450 but we think there must be a code in them because it says enter code don't think it recognise his key. Where do we go from her. Been reading up on this and it seems to be a common problem, what a stupid set up. He has been off the road now over a month,if Iam out and see dark clouds I go into panic mode.

Send the replacement dash and his keys to Carmo. They can set the dash to his keys. https://www.carmo.nl//
