Just bought a New 2013 V750 Stone and was wondering if anyone out there knows if there is a vendor that makes a
windshield larger than the one that MG makes for it since it doesn`t look like it will block much wind or am I wrong?

I found this one on the MG accessories site:

Looks to be fair-sized. Fire up Google and search for "Moto Guzzi V7 Windshields". I found lots.

Funny someone basically asked the same question on WG the other day:
wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?topic=59698.0

Here's my reply

OK, so I searched V7 Windshield

Here are some Results

Dan R's not sure if this is the OEM one again

I think he later changed to a small sport fairing

If my little bro sees this I'm sure he'll add a pic of his V7C with the large touring windshield that Harpers sells.

Also, Sign has the particular OEM windshield you're asking about - maybe he'll chime in.

I'm likely going to buy that OEM windshield myself come spring.

Kev, good memory. Yep, I've got that windshield. I think it's the factory "Sport" windshield. It's a compromise between the flyscreen from Dart, and fullsize windshields. Takes off some of the force of the wind off your chest, while still giving a performance look to the machine. There's a slight adjustment to height available, and I found the slight adjustment made a significant difference in helmet buffeting. At the right height, there no appreciable amount.

At 5' 7.75" tall, this windshield works for me.

I emailed Slipstreamers and they said the ss-20 would work, which is what I plan on getting .

Please let us know what you think when you get it.

Hi guys,

I'm looking to buy some of those mounting brackets, used.
If I can get my hands on some I'll look into producing them
and a touring windshield to go with them. I've had a couple
750 owners send me pleas for help.

If you have some you're willing to part with, let me know.

California Scientific Windshields ( http://www.calsci.com/ ) are already making some great
replacement windscreens for the Norge and Stelvio. Their website also has a lot of other
good cycle info and is definitely worth a look.

Let's support Mark and CalSci so all of can have a shot at a better choice for a
more protective (taller, wider) windscreen for our 750cc bikes.

If any of us ride a 2004 (and newer) 750cc Guzzis (Breva, Nevada, Classic, V7 Stone,
V7 Special, and V7 Racer) and live near CalSci in Sacramento, CA why not take it by
so they can measure an actual bike for the proper mount measurements and windscreen
contour.

Newbie here. I just picked up my Stone 2 days ago. I had the shop install a Guzzi accessory small windscreen before I picked it up. I can report that the windscreen doesn't block the wind at face height at all. In fact, I think it creates extra turbulence at eye height. I must use a helmet with a face shield in order to ride the bike above 25 mph.

love it

I too purchased the MG accessories windshield shown above with the brackets. Looks nice on the bike, but at 6'1"+, it provides no wind protection for me at all. Highways on my v7 Stone can be miserable.

I was asking Todd the same question the other day. Would love to have a full size windscreen for those times going out of town, that could be removed for the majority of my riding which is around town.

I would purchase one in a heartbeat.

Hi,
By "height adjustment" do you mean cutting it down? Mine is buffet city!
