Just bought my first ever Guzzi and man am I smitten just one month in.

Sadly, it being almost winter, I was prepping my 2015 V7 for storage today but was not able to find a fuel cutoff on the bike anywhere to run it dry. Does the V7 not actually have one or am I just blind?

Much appreciated in advance for your time!

I believe the best thing to do is to fill the tank full of non-ethanol fuel and add in fuel stabilizer such as Sta-Bil. This is what was recommended to me on this site for my V7 III.

Totally agree on topping off and adding stabilizer, but up to this point I have never owned a bike without a fuel cutoff that allows you to clear out the as much fuel from the delivery system as possible on top of those guidelines. Just wanted to confirm that was the case with this V7.

The bike is fuel injected. There is no fuel cut off. Yes fill with fuel, ethanol fuel is OK and add stabilizer. Run the bike a couple miles to distribute the stabilizer throughout the system. Also put the bike on a trickle charger once a month for 24 hours only.

And don't forget to take it out and roll it around a few times to prevent flat spotting the tires.

Thanks everyone! My last fuel injected bike still had a fuel cutoff, so I appreciate the info that it isn't a standard item to have on a bike with FI. Specifically not on my V7.

    Cheers!
