Hi, I`m finding some things that I shouldn`t be finding in my carbs.
My bike has the right carbs but the wrong jets, slides atomisers etc, at least according to the stock listings.
I`m wondering if anyone knows of a Guzzi stock set up that uses the Dellorto PHBH30`s with the following jetting etc :-
Idle jet 32`s, atomiser 264T, needle X8 raised to the highest setting, and the main jet 110, and a 50 throttle slide
These are fitted to a Nevada 750, where the stock according to list should be :-
idle jet 38`s, atomiser 266T, needle X8 middle notch, main jet 102, and a 40 throttle slide.
My bike is registered as new on 04,2002, a Moto Guzzi LAPD.
Now I cant find anything through google to suggest a Nevada LAPD has ever been produced, and my bike looks identical to a Nevada Club.
Also, and this is worrying me, I cant find an engine number on my Guzzi block to see if it matches up with the frame number. Something I questioned in my head is whether the bike has had an accident and as a result had a different engine fitted from another Guzzi, with a different carb set up, hence asking if anyone knows of a bike that has the carb set-up mentioned above, as stock?
Or any idea how I can find this out?
I do have the original service book with original owner and dealer details, and of course the V5.
Thanks, Martin
