I have the lower rubber footpegs but need to get clearance from the sidestand. Before I cut and weld my US stand, I wanted to see if anyone outside the US wants to trade their straight Euro-spec for my US-spec.

Here's the rest-of-world model I'm after:

I'll ship to you first and use my center stand until you can send me your straight side stand.

Does anyone know if I need a different bracket? If so, I'd want that with the Euro stand also.

TIA,
Tom

No, all you need to do is disconnect the side stand switch and then remove the pivot bolt. Bracket is the same.

The bracket is decidedly NOT the same.

I have switched from the US side stand to the "Euro" stand and may even have posted up the conversion on here at the time.

Would the Euro stand work with the US bracket? I don't know.

You're right, a brain fade on my part. Inexcusable, since I've done this swap a couple of times. In fact Bisbonian, I believe for my first swap I traded my Euro version for your USA one.

Part number details are:-

EU-UK: Lateral Stand 977079
Stand Plate 977080

CA-USA: Lateral Stand 977093
Stand Plate 977408

Interesting that Guzzi call out California; does this mean that the rest of the USA get something else, or are they thinking that California isn't part of the USA?
