Tuned and Synch'ed
Totally get the desire to farkle, been there, done that, but when you're looking at changing a bike that much, isn't it just easier to buy a different bike?

All a hyper motard is is a mid sized adventure bike thats been lightened and has sport tires added therr looks to be a lot of extra weight on this bike if you removed the luggage brackets put on a minimal exhaust gave it a good tune it should be able to give the dorsoduro a good run for its money and maybe even the duc
Seat Height: 830mm...Hoping there is a lower seat option or I will be visiting seat maker really soon
there will be three different heights to choose from for the optional seat (but exact details are missing)
Well, hopefully this week we will know what 3 different levels are...
Hopefully it isn't tall, taller, REALLY tall
At the beginning I was also a little bit puzzled by the 170mm of the suspension run. But... you need more only if your target is to drive fast in offroad. For that type of driving there are more suitable bikes on the market, IMO.
I drove my STelvio 480 km offroad with the ridicoluos suspension travel of 155mm at the rear and... I've got fun! Just slow down in difficult sections and you can do it all.
Also, tall motorcycles can put not-expert drivers in serious difficulties.
Maybe I wrote it before, I don't remember... but for me the V85 represents the new Honda Transalp. The most versatile bike ever appeared on the market, IMO.
The V85 can be:
- your Honda NC750 in the city and for commuting,
- your Yamaha Tracer for highway travels (cruise control)
- your... decent offroad machine if you don't aspire to jump like they do on youtube.
OFFTOPIC
By the way, I saw the official data of the Teneré 700 and I'm disappointed. I was waiting more from Yamaha, I really don't know know how to evaluate this bike...
seat at 88 cm from the ground, narrow and made of solid stone
max torque at 6.500 rpm
205 Kg of dry weight
no driver protection from the wind
no luggage-system
small 16 liter tank
I have many doubts on this bike. What is intended for?

Also this one with the red one

I really liked the Yellow/Black but dang that Red is nice.
The one thing I don't like already is the techno-dash!!!!
PLEASE! I just want an old school tach / speedo / dual trip meters.

Thanks for posting. Funny, another laughable video to me (and 5 minutes long?!). I imagine they scrapped the bike after this shoot as Guzzis aren't very waterproof as we all know.Nice video (sorry for the poor resolution
Is the V85 running tubed tires? I was hoping that even though it was running spoked wheels it would accommodate tubeless but I'm not sure what to make of the tech chart posted on Guzzi's website when it says "With air chamber 110/80 - R19”".
According to the spec, it is running tubes.
There are people saying although it is running TUBELESS tires, the valving isn't sealed hence it needs tube.
