Pretty much spot on with the ones I've dyno'ed.It now has a Big Bore kit installed and makes 51 horsepower at the rear wheel.

If you get tired of fighting it…Related but slightly off topic : those C clips to "hold" the piston pin... If I knew how difficult those are to put on I think I wouldn't have started this project myself but gladly asked a garage to do that for me. Just because of those damn clips.
I tried a whole sunday to put one in but no luck. Almost lost my eye 2 times. My fingers hurt.
I'd be happy to let you ship it to my house and then ship it on to Finland for you. Of course I have no idea right now what shipping to Finland costs."Shipping: Does not ship to Finland" :c
The only store in Finland that sell a somewhat similar tool it is 130euros hahahha.
The link of the tool on Ebay says size 18mm. I suppose that is the right size for the MG piston ?
Excellent, please email it to me direct; info @guzzitech.com -- I'll put it in the downloads section. My 3d printed tool works like a charm. It won't last hundreds of clips but will do the job for a dozen of them at least.
I'll share the .obj file soon. I don't think GTM sells that tool on his store so I suppose it is ok I share it here ?
Direct email is best for timely questions like these, as I don't live on the Forum here, and I don't catch every post. The old piston batch had a crank rotation/direction arrow on top. The new batch that you got does not, so I'm 90% positive it's good either direction. More important is ring end gap. If you need more, please email me direct.I am almost done with the right side. And suddenly I have cold shivers of fear. I didn't check the piston orientation. Please GTM tell me the piston is perfectly symmetric and there is no side for it ?
Bonus : if there is a side : is there a way from the top (with the upper cylinder head removed) to see if it is mounted the right way ? I pray I don't have to disassemble everything.
Gentle wear in period ?She is alive. I did the first start this evening. I didnt go for a ride yet. Im very happy and also very proud i managed to change them "myself".
I would say that the job was quite the adventure. After the first cylinder / piston the second one was already much easier.
Lets see what happens at the first ride ^^
