(Was going to post this in the mods thread but thought it would be lost and since not actually done, irrelevant for now.)

I've had my V7 850 Special ('22) for a few months now and I've just done the first service. I absolutely love it (the wife named him Rocky) but there are a couple of things I'd like to change (I'll list them at the end if anyone has any recommendations). The main thing is that the fuel cap looks really cheap and plastic on that lovely tank. It also vacuums so it squeals quite a bit. I'd like to try swapping it out (I did this on my Kawasaki and it both looks better and solved the issue).

I can't find many fuel caps that definitely fit though. I know Baak do a Monza cap which I quite like (their stuff looks good; anyone got any to qualify the quality?) but I think I prefer the screw in simple designs like the Motone Customs ones. I can find them all over for Triumphs and Harleys but no one lists Guzzi. I don't suppose anyone knows of any that definitely fit the V7? Thread pitches etc. are never listed so I'm not sure about the fit.

If anyone is interested I'm also looking at Baak for their front and read mudguards, possibly street handlebars, starter cover and underbar mirror. I also like the look of the TripMachine grip wraps but I've never had anything like them before so don't know if I'd like them. It also worries me that the grips may become too fat as I've never been a fan of that (the wife has Oxford heated grips and they're so big they make my large hands ache in 20 mins around town). Also looking for a decent tyre that visually resembles the TKC80's (I don't believe they make a compatible size) just because they look good and I don't ride the Guzzi like I ride my supersport. Obviously I have to answer the age old question of after market exhausts but really wanting to replace the headers for 2 singles with similar look but short mufflers I think it'll take as long to decide as it will to save up.

Anyway, sorry for droning on. Stream of consciousness.

Easy peazy.

Google Search for “Moto Guzzi V7 Tappo di carburante”

You will have to order from an Italian supplier. There simply isn’t enough volume to import specialty items like that here in the USA.

Have you looked in the STORE tab? Todd (GTM) has outstanding offerings of everything you are looking for. He doesn’t sell junk. Only the best, tested and proven stuff.

His exhaust systems are TOP SHELF handmade to order and Dyno tested and proven.

Support the site and shop the STORE whenever possible. 🤞👍👌
