B11 license plate bulb.

IAnyone replaced a license plate illumination bulb on a B11/norge? I get the rear fenser lose 4 bolts. Then the rear light cluster 4 bolts. It looks like u have to get the rear light cluster out of the way but although clearly lose when u pull it back u possible have to disconnect the wires. Are the wire connectors those visible back right side rear just infront in the rear under the seat?
 
So disconnected the wire and pulled harder on the rear light cluster revealing the last fender retainer. Swapped the bulb over should be good for my mot.
 
nel, do you have more detailed instructions? sounds like 8 bolts in total from your description. my license plate bulb has been out for several years, didn't figure out how to get to the bulb.
 
sorry for the late reply I don't have detailed instructions and I cant remember how I do stuff I'm getting old . It is an easy job but you will find some of the the clip retainers rusted out and need replacing.If you don't tighten them the allen bolts shake loose and u lose them. Your local motor store sell look a likes.
