Its been a while since I tried to sort this issue on my Griso.

The story so far:
Bike running fine Feb 2022. July 2022, wouldn't start. Plugs dry. Replaced filter, hoses on filter (since gone back to original pump-to-filter pipe, using the correct Oetiker clips), and fuel-to-injectors pipe. Still cranks but won't start.

If I can't sort this, I'll be sending it to a workshop. BUT... I noticed today that even with zero fuel in the tank, the fuel warning light didn't come on. So is this maybe an electrical issue? Where would I find the fuel sensor?

Cheers!

The pump, filter and fuel level sensor are all inside your tank. (Sorry, you already know that). Do you hear the pump priming the lines when you turn the ignition on?
By your right throttle body you will find a large, flat electrical connector (4-5 pin probably). That is the power supply to all the stuff in the tank. Pull it apart, (you have already disconnected it to remove the tank) clean with contact cleaner, maybe even spray it with a corrosion blocker for the future, somethin that's safe on circuitboards etc. Assuming that is the bike in your avatar, I have a Griso and a Breva of that vintage, both with 110K km.
Many niggling minor issues have been solved over the years by pulling every connector I could find and doing that. These bikes are 17 years old. Corrosion never sleeps...My guess is electrical.
Even those pesky Service Alerts have left me alone for a few years now. Good luck with it.

Yes, the pump primes when I turn the ignition on. When I first changed the filter, I failed to tighten the filter-output hose correctly and the petrol was swirling, so the pump certainly runs.

I'll disassemble and fully clean that connector as soon as I can. Hopefully that might yield results, and it is super easy to do.

Yes, the bike is the orange Griso. Thank you for your advice and I will let you know how I get on!

I had an issue with no start, and that was when the fuel hose between pump and filter came apart. Reconnected and sweet as. But have a feeling you might be already all over that side of things
