Do V7iii’s have clutch delay valves?

Pretty much as stated. I notice when shifting aggressively, there is a noticeable delay when the clutch is fully let out and when I feel the engine RPM decrease from being hooked back up to the transmission. It’s a small, but noticeable delay, enough that I’m a little confused because I figured dry clutches catch more readily.

Stop being aggressive. Seriously, it is direct action. It sounds like you are on throttle too soon. Also with a Guzzi I never squeeze the clutch all the way in, just enough to disengage to make the shift.

No delay valve, but there are springs. Make sure cable has enough slack so it's completely engaged.

Please read up on the clutch assy/function. This is a topic well covered here, and/as this is NOT a clueless social media website.
It sounds like you are describing clutch slip. Either from a misadjusted clutch cable, or the throwout bearing has been destroyed. Happy yo have a look at my shop in Orange with an appointment. Be prepared to leave it as we do not do while you wait if it's not a simple adjustment.
