I sat down with the Stelvio as it has been a bit unused and had battery issues that I assumed were ground problems in that it would weirdly discharge, but thanks to two people, issues are solved.
The first people are the staff at Edmonds battery and starters in Abbotsford who warrantied a new battery that I had on a trickle charger and apparently had sulfated, gave me a replacement battery even though it was out of warranty, and then gave me a generous discount on a new battery for the Griso as it is still on its original battery after 6 years!
Secondly, to Scott M for his advice on using a better higher amperage smart charger, now on all of the bikes that I have.
I appreciate help in all its forms, and after a brand new link pipe from Todd, a full service, including using the Guzzi tech diagnostic tool to reset the TPS, the bike is better than ever, and so I have to clean off a little corrosion on some of the bolts, and then head off onto the bumpy roads out here in Mission, with new seals and oil in the forks and a rebuild rear shock thanks to RMR suspension here in Mission (although I think a new shock from Todd is in the future).
The bike is a wonderful bike and runs so beautifully that all of the work is worthwhile.
Thanks so much to everyone

Thanks for the post Brian. This on the Griso or Stevlio? So no mention of the PC-V/AT yet for the Griso, did you get it installed? If so, it is a MUST to connect with me via email, to get it set correctly.

With all the cancer stuff happening, I can usually get the energy for a bike at at a time so next week the work starts on the Griso, where the PC-V/AT will be going along with the new headers, so that's the next exciting phase of working. Both of the Kawasakis that I have are having tune ups ready for a late summer group ride with a nephew and brother-in-law from the UK coming over, so its bike works every weekend here! Because the PCV/AT is going on the Griso, should I use the Guzzitech diagnostic tool to obtain a map for the Stelvio instead?

Best to you on the Cancer Schmancer ordeal. Thought that was over. Oy.
No, do not interface the flash tool. Only to the Griso. Email only on this please!

Speedy recovery to you Sir! My very best to you. Thank you for your kind words.

Fighting your way through cancer and playing whack-a-mole with multiple bikes is a full time job, good on yer for hanging in there.

The Matris shock I put on the Stelvio to replace the sacked-out original is still going strong after 40,000 miles of two-up-and-luggage use ....
