Griso 8v: different fork bushings than specified ? (and a little rant)

One of the Winter projects for my 2010 Griso 8V 1200 was to have the fork oil changed.
It's been two years and ~60,000 miles; since the last time it was changed.
So I ordered the parts; dust seals, oil seals, inner and outer bushings, and crush washers.

I ordered the parts before Christmas, most of them arrived by Jan 9.
Found out two weeks ago that the Guzzzi dealer ordered the upper washer and NOT the crush washers.
Two completely different items. And Guzzi calls the crush washers "Special Washer".
So at that point I had the Guzzi dealer order the correct crush washers.
As of today; ie two weeks later; still no crush washers.
This Guzzi dealer is striking out left-and-right. More instances than just this issue. So they will never touch my bikes.

So me and the independent shop that is doing the fork oil changed decided to change the oil under the assumption that "Special Washer" was just a common crush washer that he probably has in stock.

Good news;
"Special Washer" is just an ordinary copper crush washer and is a Suzuki part.

BAD news;
The new bushings the dealer ordered are completely different that what came out of the forks.
And not at all compatible.

The shop that is doing the fork oil change; took an educated guess and compared the old bushings to Kawasaki bushings of another customer.
And found the Kawasaki bushings are correct. So he ordered Kawasaki bushings for me.

So I took the new bushings back to the Guzzi dealer.
We compared part numbers on bag with part numbers listed on the Guzzi parts list.
They match.
We also compared the dimensions of the new bushings with the dimensions shown on the parts list.
They also match.

I looked at the invoice from when the fork oil was changed the first time by another Guzzi dealer.
It does not indicate they replaced the bushings (or crush washers for that matter).
So that means the used bushings from the forks are original from the factory.

Is it possible that Guzzi installed forks with different internals than what is specified on their parts list ?

Thanks;

Guzzi wouldn't assemble the forks, they would be shipped to the factory from Marzocchi/Paoli etc as complete units.
Therefore, fork manufacturer has changed fork design or Luigi in the Guzzi parts dept. has got his wires crossed.
