It looks like I have a choice to make. I want an aftermarket exhaust and am quickly narrowing it down to GTM offerings, but I'm torn on what I want. A 2-into-1 exhaust gives performance gains in the low to mid range which is honestly where I spend most of my time. But I love the sound and look of a dual exhaust. That stereo rumbling I hear behind me is intoxicating, especially with a decel pop here and there. It's lovely. Not sure if I want to get rid of it. But those performance gains are hard to argue with.

Oh I want a 820cc kit so bad! I keep thinking about it. There's so much I still want to do to this bike. 820 kit, the exhaust upgrade I've been discussing here, suspension upgrade, the bigger brake caliper upgrade... At some point I started thinking, why don't I just get a bigger bike? Well why not both?I have the 2:1 and absolutely love it. I think the 2:2 looks a little more cafe classic, but I ended up going with 2:1 because I thought it sounded slightly better than the 2:2 - both sounded dreamy as hell, just the 2:1 was a little louder (in my perception), but that might not be true in reality since I couldn't get bikes together side by side. It's definitely a hard choice though because it's a win-win really on either situation. Now that I have the 820cc kit I'm glad I went with the 2:1 even more.
