Is there a way ( besides Axone / Navigator ) to raise the idle speed ?
Idle screw, cable tightening ... etc ?

I've got a V7C and I tried to do the opposite; lower the idle speed. I found that it really couldn't be done because the lambda sensor and electronic control unit (ECU) constantly adjust settings to keep the bike in line with the programmed idle speed. This is mentioned in the book Guzziology as an "Italian ghost" that won't let you change things.

My bike idles at 1,150-1,200. What does yours idle at, and why do you want to change it?

Page 77 and 78 of the Service manual, but without setting the TPS baseline via Axione, Navigator or VDTS and setting up the throttle body sync with a twin max, Carbtune or Manometer it is a band aid temporary fix.

Send me your E-Mail Address off forum and I will send you the service manual in PDF format.

Guys,

Don't mess with the throttle stop on the 750s. It is a "sacred Screw" just like the big bikes. Only use the air bypass screws to modify idle speed. One does not need to remain closed as with the big brothers. An idle speed of 1100 to 1200 is where the small block should be.
