Hi folks,
Merry Christmas, to start with...
It's not my first post on the forum, but I should have introduced myself properly earlier.
My name is Chris and I live in Belgium. Somewhere in my head there was a small voice for years that kept saying nice things of Guzzi's. Since a couple of months it became harder and harder to ressist...
So after a thorough net-search, I found this Englisch Breva (see my topic for a COC)
To make a long story short, I picked it up in between 2 snowstorms (with my van :!: )and it's in my garage now (with 20cm snow in front of the door ). No possibility to give it a ride now, but already did some study work on the 'computermanual'...
One questions stays unanswered: each time I switch on the ignition and the bike has finisched 'waving' and 'blinking', there is a message "remember to enter your user code". Is this the keycode (label is still on the spare key)?
According the manual there is a possibiblty to enter a new code, when you have the two keys (I do), but what is it used for?
Known Breva: the previous owner is (was) also a forummember (bobelpfan). Thanks for keeping it in such a good condition. (and parting of it so quickly ) I will try to keep it as neat as it is now!
Now still the paperwork to do to get it (her?) on the road legally, then a couple of nice-weather days...
