No sir, I am not Italian, dont be ridicolo...

If you are going to express yourself, then I ‘d say that surely works in that department!

There is a seat for every butt, handlebars for every arms, and a paint job for every eye.

I celebrate your work and congratulate your having the gumption to do as you will!

You, Mindis, and many others, may not have a “common” taste, but what the hell, it’s your dream and vision. Follow it! Others be dammed!

What Scott said. 👏

Besides, iIf your avatar likes it, I'm fine with it. ;)

Is that DIY or a shop's work?

If the former, time; if latter, which and cost?

I have only dealt with one auto paint shop -- in Martinsburg, W.V. -- for motorcycle work ... the panniers on my late Norge. Their paint work was quite fine, but they mucked up the hardware in a maddening way.

Thank you for the feedback. I did it myself, just spray paint, so less than $20, took about 3 weeks. I coated the front fender in plastidip first in case someone somewhere down the road wants to go back to the carbon fiber. Looking forward to an Italian's opinion. My avatar is a famous gymnast-thanks SI body issue

I am pretty sure that an Italian would like your avatar. ;)

As for the livery, you might want to narrow that poll a bit, and focus on those who live somewhere on a line somewhere south of Rome, and include Sicily.

But what Scott says is spot on, i.e., who cares what others think if you like it. I use an Anglo-Saxon verb and plural pronoun as the object for such folks. Italians only need one word for that, but it means the same thing.

Enjoy your Guzzi. Yours is an amazing result frtom a rattle can.

I am ITALIAN and I love it.

(And your avatar can eat all the crackers in bed she wants! I would not mind one bit!)

The green is a touch lighter shade versus the Tricolore but then agin, photos rarely match actuality when you see it in person.

Again, ride what you love so that you love what you ride.

I think it’s perfect for you and you should be pleased and proud!

You and Mindis! You go guys!

Back in the 1998-2004 period at Brattin Motors BMW, one of my co-workers was the absolute KING of rattle can painting. His name was Phil Beck, and he was a Maestro with the spray can. He painted several motorcycles with this technique, and I swear, you could not tell at all. In fact, I bought a R100 that he did, named BeemerBlue, and she was beautiful and NOBODY ever suspected.

Phil used to tell me that it was all about preparation, and patience. Not trying to rush things. He was amazing at this.

I have painted a bunch of bikes this way. No problem selling them either it seems. I just realized all of these bikes were black. Black bikes are boring to me, but I do like black engines, wheels and forks/controls. The green/orange and the blue Rocket 3s are the same bike. I plastidipped 2 of my 3 cars, and one of them was black.
