Hi,
We had a hailstorm here the other day, which caused a fracture in the inner fairing aka dashboard cover. Between that and the paint issue on my fuel tank I'm really not having a lot of luck selling the bike in optimum conditions...
Official estimate for replacement is 2.5 hours work which doesn't surprise me, but maybe some owners (or mechanics) on here have figured out a clever, easier procedure? Is it absolutely necessary to remove the windscreen mounts, for instance?
And BTW, should I take the opportunity of this occasion to swap out my fuel tank too or is that something that doesn't require removing the inner fairing completely and is easy enough to do another time?
Thanks,
René
