I bought a used 2007 Norge. It came with only one key, and the user code is unknown.
The way the transponder key security is set up, you need either two working keys or one working key and the user code to add keys to the bike.
I'm hoping that maybe there's a "secret" back door that will allow me to either recover the code or reset it. Alternatively, a way to force the bike to accept a new key.
Kind of a "reset" button. Can the dealer's Axone do that?
Is the user code stored in the ECU? If so, there must be an ECU replacement procedure that might work.
In the meantime, I'm trying to guess the user code, but there are 100,000 possibilities .... Tried last 5 of the VIN, 12345, etc...
Any information or help will be much appreciated ....
