Am sure most folk are not huge fans of the OEM Pirelli Sport Demon tires fitted to the V7, I really fancied seeing what the Phantom Sportcomps were like, but they don't do a 130 rear..... the do a 150 though, and it fits, and handles so very nicely on them! :)

Hahaha.... you funny man! :D

I don't need the back of it.... can't see it when riding so no point having it! :D

I agree about the truncated rear look, but who cares? I'm old. :wait:

Do you know if the OD of the tire is much diff from the 130? Curious if it affected speedo.

Thanks for posting!

Two points to note; 1. Since your wheels are Kineo tubeless, your rear rim is likely a 3.75, which will support up to a 140/70 (shown below). I know the 150 fits, but isn't ideal/spec'ed for that rim size. There's a wonderful selection in the 140/70 because of the 300/400 Sportbikes. 2. If you bought the wheels from me, and because you do track days, I'd have recommended the 3.5x17 front wheel which again opens the tire selection and compounds. I know the Trofeo V7 series runs these Sportcomps, but you haven't lived until you run a 120/70x17 & 140/70x17 in track compound on the V7. ;)

Not sure re the speedo tbh, although the bike seems to still read similar speeds from before. I do have an aftermarket speedo/speedo sensor though, not sure how it would effect the OEM sensor.

When I got the wheels, I wasn't aware of the 17" option, had I been, I would have def gone for them as rubber choice would have been a lot easier :)
