The other night I was trying different plugs in the power outlet on the dash, for my GPS
Some of the plugs were pretty loose, so I wiggled them around a bit. Next thing you know the red triangle warning light comes on and starts flashing.
The ignition is not on at this time. I then get the key and turn the ignition on and start the bike up. All good triangle disappears.
Shut the bike down, ignition off triangle returns. Anyone know how to reset this fault?
Bike is a 2013 model Stelvio.

Is it a rapid flash or a flash every couple of seconds. The red triangle always flashes every couple of seconds when the bike is off unless you turn it off in the setup menu. It is to tell you the immobilizer is active.

Canuck, thanks for the quick reply, it flashes every couple of seconds, but until I fooled with the DC power outlet it wasn't flashing.
So I can go back to the Setup and turn it off ?
I've only had it since April this year so it was probably turned off from new.

Weird that is started up with the socket. I don't believe there is any power to the socket with the key off so not sure how it would even do it. Is it possible you just never noticed it before and it was always flashing when the key was off????

The factory default is the flashing light on when the key is off. To turn it on/off, with the key on, go to the Menu and then choose Settings. You will then see "LED Immobilizer". Select that and it will give you the open to turn it on/off.

Absolutely agree with what your saying. It definitely wasn't on before, because I always check the dashboard when I'm wheeling it out the shed and have never noticed it. I say this because my Harley immobiliser lights up when you move it and I wondered why the Stelvio didn't do it.
Anyway will go into the settings and check what's going on. At least you've put me on the right track.
Thanks for your input, it's always very helpful.
