Hi there!

following conditions:
1. i miss a hazard switch on my griso (1200 8v SE, 2010)
2. i've access to a used rh lights selector from Norge 1200 ABS ZGULPH01

task:
is the Griso ECU maybe capable of controlling all 4 indicators at once if using the hazard switch from the Norge (assumed the switch is properly wired to pin 14 of the Griso ECU)?

At the moment i cannot pull off the ECU (still winter in front of my garage) so i've no clue if there even is a pin 14 at all on my ECU (wiring diagram shows one but of course not connected)

And i have to admit that i'm also dreaming about customizing LH lights selector from that Norge for my purposes (heated grips and better position of horn-/turnswitch etc.)…

Any input is welcome

Dietrich

Have you compared the schematics in the Tech section? As you said, the real question is if the Griso dash is set up to do 4 way flashing.

On older machines if someone wanted 4 ways, I'd run a wire from each side to a SPST switch. With the switch in the on position, activate either side T/S and you would have all 4 flashing. I don't know if this is compatible with the newer dash controlled system, so doing this may pose a risk.

hmm… one mistake i made is i confound the connector blocks and ECU blocks on the wiring diagram (pin 14is on the connector - not the ECU), but nevertheless the question still remains will the Griso ECU have this feature…
