Gotta get the T3 out for some exercise tomorrow, weather looking real nice, hopefully most of the trash from last storm swept off the road. Anybody else interested? Thinking mid morning start from Topanga & Ventura Starbucks, off to the SMM.

Wish I could make it Bob, but I've got a Christmas party tomorrow afternoon.

On another note, I don't know whether other So-Cal-ers had heard, but Newcomb's Ranch had closed "for good" last Sunday. Well, today it re-opened again and is open at least for this weekend. The initial decision was to close it down on the 19th, and then the Dept of Health closed it down prematurely. Dept of Health was back there yesterday and gave them the OK to open. Mt Waterman's not open yet and the lower portion of the Crest is closed, which is causing extremely light business, which in turn drove the doc to announce to the employees that he was closing the place down.

Anyway, if anyone feels like riding local this weekend, it might be prudent to go up there and have something to eat. It's my "Ace Cafe," and I've freaked out once this week already  I was up there this morning and I'll be back again Sunday morning. Hope to see you there too!

Mike

I can't ride Saturday, but I would like to get out on Sunday, up to the SMMs. Anybody else interested in meeting at either Top. Starbucks or the RS?

Newcomb's closing?

I can't believe it! That is one of my favorite local destination's. Like Mohawkeye said, It's our "Ace Cafe". What the hell is taking so long with reopening A.C.H.? Don't they realize that there putting people out of business by dragging there feet regarding road repair's.What there's no money in the state's budget ,what a surprize , ca. is going down like the Titanic. Total bull$#!@

I'm riding back to Central Cali from San Fernando Valley Sunday probably about 1-2 PM. May take the long way 'round, tho not sure which one.... I'll look for some other guzzis out there!! (Was a last-minute trip, and only down here for 24 hours, otherwise would have tried to make better plans to meet up somehow, Todd/Bob......) Had a cool ride down - see Ride Reports.
Hope to see you guys soon.
