Looking at your photos in this thread, (BTW - you can obviously ride) makes me jealous as hell. Good God Sir, you must have some seriously awesome roads in your backyard!

Here where I am in Ohio, you get your choice of roads - flat, flatter, flattest and if you want curves and a decreasing radius, well, you are just SOL.

I will have to take my V100 a long ways away from Northwest Ohio, in order to shred up a set of tires like yours, let alone 2 different sets. Good for you! Lucky man.

Oh, and your avatar pic, (I just pulled it up so I could see the detail), is an awesome photo. Explains your shredding the exhaust headers…😄

Again, I’m super jealous! 🤬
Deal's Gap is 15 minutes from the house

although I don't go on it as often as I could.

The Cherohala Skyway is 20 minutes away and is less technical than the gap, with more sweepers than tight turns, but it has a few that frequently catch people off guard.

The Blue Ridge Parkway and Foothills Parkway add some variety

but I usually prefer the quieter backroads.

As you are an experienced rider of high corner speeds, how would you rate the V100 compared to other bikes/brands?
Stability?
Agility?
Race VS touring preferences?

Yes, the ground clearance is not for racing I know, and the weight is on the high side.
But still the V100 seems quite capable to me, if I ever would explore the capabilities…
A lot of test rides and reviews also indicates this, but I would yet to see a real race track report to know for sure.
Every bike has its strong points and weaknesses. I think it balances the sport and touring aspect pretty well. Not as sporty as a few of my other bikes, but that's to be expected. My wife prefers it as a passenger even more than my BMW R1200RT, so that says something.

That's some beautiful country! I can't wait to get back there. I never got the chance to ride the Cherohala Skyway, but it's on my bucket list. Fortunately, the Blue Ridge Parkway is only 75 minutes away!
11 years ago I watched a guy lose it on the gap, and his new MV Agusta slid right off a cliff. Luckily he didn't follow it. Some people get a little crazy riding the Tail of The Dragon!
The quieter backroads of western North Carolina are beautiful and therapeutic for me.

I'm hoping and praying that my wife will feel the same way because if not, then Lord what will I do lol.
