Hi All.
I just brought a 1995 Sport 1100 (Carbureted) for my sons Motorcycle Mechanic class "Project". The price was very right and the bike looks amazing. Needs a little work to free up the chokes, change the fluids, service the brakes etc, nothing an aspiring young Motor Cycle mechanic shouldn't be able to handle, once we get a battery.
I see from the manuals the '95 Sport 1100 had 2 batteries that look to be wired in Parallel mode. I've been unable to find a site that sells the factory dual battery set up. In fact most of the sites don't list batteries for the Sport 1100 although often they list batteries for the Sport 1100i.
Q1. Does a battery for the Sport 1100i fit the Sport 1100?
Q2. If the answer to Q1 is no, can anyone recommend a good battery for a '95 Sport 1100 (carb)
Many thanks.
