Anyone tried trickle charging the battery using the electric point under the pillion seat - or is this output only?
Can find no reference to this in the manual.
Cheers
Martin

Hi Martin,

the electric point under the pillion seat has its position there for charging the battery and nothing else:)

It can also be used to charge mobile phones, tomtom, or anything else a cigarette lighter socket in a car might be used for. It is easier to charge the battery using a trickle charger specific plug and socket as supplied, connected to the battery with a fused lead, otherwise you have to fit a cigarette lighter plug to your charger. Then, if you have two bikes you have to fit another cigarette socket to thast bike too........expensive
