Thought you all might enjoy the minor aesthetic updates to the Guzzi, and a few pics from a recent camping weekend.

Got to know the bike a lot this weekend, took it on the highway for the first time (yes I changed my engine speeds up to avoid rpm drone during break-in)

Noticed the throttle positions that put me in between map cells. Surging and a little uneven power goes away pretty quickly after adjusting the throttle position up or down.

Could have packed a little better, bike had a little gentle wobble on decel from high speeds and the suspension really rattled my kidneys with the extra weight ... I'll be sure to address everything once I get a rack so I can put load farther over the rear wheel.

Anyone else do complete wheel psi, suspension soften, and load balance on their longer trips? Basic prep maneuvers?

Also,

I got some Agostini crash bars in the mail the other day and they had a LOAD of shit rattling around inside of them ... fuck that! $200 and you can't even blow out the bars before you weld them on? Welds looked like sloppy peanut butter anyway. Blech. Sent them packing this afternoon.

Nice post.
How many miles did you put on her, and when did the seat make itself felt?

I think in total it was about 200 in two days

After about 75 it really rattled me. Kidney killer. I think I ended up sitting on the frame rails themselves. That and the suspension was a little out of wonk because of the extra weight.

I also had to sit way far forward because I don't have a rack yet, so it might have also been that!

2016 V7ii - 160 lbs without gear. I had to back off the stock shock preload quite a bit to make it bearable...it also got better after 1000 miles or so, but they are just junk. I just bolted up a set of Hagons, and I can notice a difference even without riding it yet!
