I have been looking for a pair of cast wheels for the Griso as the rear in particular has started to lose too much (3-4 psi) per day, and managed to find a pair in Calgary in great shape for $459 Canadian from a breakers in Calgary, who by the way has a lot of Norge spares including an entire rear end and they will negotiate on price also. I’m now going to try to see what the best way is to get the spoked wheels airtight up to and including replacing the seals after tightening all the spikes in a truing stand as I love the look of the spokes, but not the air leakage.
The wheels have absolutely no marks on them, so it’s bearing replacement time on the front and a new look for the bike

You need a different front axle for the cast wheels - can't remember part numbers but probably a Norge front axle (for cast wheel) would work

I thought that but in the parts fiche it has the same parts number but I may get a friend/ machinist to make one for me as the Norge forks are different to those of the Griso. We’ll see when they get here. Thanks for the reply

You will also need the axel, spacer from an early griso and 10mm spacers behind the rotors.

Here's the parts I bought when I switched from wire to cast on my 2009 Griso 8V.
Axle Breva
and discs (I think disks are same between SE GRISO & cast wheel Griso - I bought new disks just to have two sets of wheels I could easily switch)
Disks

Thanks so much everyone for your help. Thats why I love this site.....making what I thought was an easy job, so difficult    .
. Seriously though, this will be the winter project for me after cleaning the wheels and possibly painting/powder coating them black.
Thank you all

Update…the breaker who has/had the wheels has a pack of all the nuts and bolts off a Breva as well as front axle and spacer and will sell it for $90C, so my usual cackhanded attempts at putting things together can commence earlier.

So I got the axle from the same bike and it fits the forks beautifully without the need for any 10mm spacers between the discs and the wheels...spot on. Thanks for all the help and advice
