Good on you for getting around to them Yarvis!Just installed the new Agostini Ti's. So far, so good. Lets see how they sound after breaking in.
Thanks Lou, they didn't go in without the drama I feared. I stripped two or three of the OEM mounting bolts that go in the rear of the stock cans and mounting brackets. They look like hex heads and my set is pretty new and sharp, boom! Stripped. I had to drill them out unfortunately. After installing you have to fiddle with the heat shields to place back correctly and on the left side where the kick stand is, I hear a slight buzz from the kick stand loop barely touching the heat shield. This never happened before with the stock cans. Otherwise love the sound and look of the new slip ons.Good on you for getting around to them Yarvis!
LouCheck my post #9 here Yarvis where I fixed a rattley noise from the left side heat shield: https://www.guzzitech.com/forums/th...e-manufactured-or-historic.14916/#post-107596
The loop part is nowhere near my exhaust, that's odd. Now the part of the kickstand that actually touches the ground, that's close I just noticed. Good luck finding a solution.Lou
I know for a fact my latest rattle is coming from the kickstand, the actual little loop part that you can grab with your foot, just barely touching the left side heat shield vibrating against it.
